Act for the Further Introduction of English Criminal Law into Upper Canada, July 4^th, 1800

This act moved further away from the system of civil law that had been practiced before the Constitutional Act, 1791, created Upper and Lower Canada out of the province of Québec. Some changes were made to reflect the circumstances of the colony.
